Core Web Vitals

Google's three user-experience metrics for loading (LCP), responsiveness (INP) and visual stability (CLS), measured from real Chrome users.

Core Web Vitals are measured from real visits through the Chrome User Experience Report and judged at the 75th percentile of page loads. A page passes when Largest Contentful Paint is within 2.5 seconds, Interaction to Next Paint within 200 milliseconds and Cumulative Layout Shift below 0.1.

They feed into Google's page experience signals, but Google describes their ranking effect as small next to relevance. Their bigger value is usually on conversion and engagement.
