What SEO is talking about this week
Terms turning up in headlines much more often in the last seven days than they did in the eight weeks before. A term that is always common scores nothing; one that has gone from nowhere to a dozen headlines scores highly. It measures what is being written about, not what is true or what matters to your site.
| Term | Headlines this week | Outlets | Previous 8 weeks | Against usual |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| tests | 8 | 3 | 0 in total | new |
| before | 7 | 5 | 0 in total | new |
| world | 6 | 5 | 1 in total | 5.0× |
| frontier model | 3 | 2 | 0 in total | new |
| revenue | 8 | 5 | 2 in total | 4.5× |
| expands | 7 | 5 | 2 in total | 3.9× |
| ads | 20 | 6 | 9 in total | 3.4× |
| connected apps | 3 | 3 | 1 in total | 2.5× |
How this is worked out
Every archived headline from the last seven days is split into single words and adjacent two-word phrases, with generic words removed. Each term's count is compared with its weekly average over the eight weeks before. A term must appear in at least three headlines from at least two different outlets — one outlet running a series is not a trend.
Follow a term to see the headlines behind it. Recalculated every 15 minutes; last run 9m ago.
